Henlow Hurricanes Youth Football Club is committed to protecting the rights and privacy of individuals, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and we process all information about players, parents/carers, coaches, managers, and other individuals in line with GDPR.
Personal data is collected, recorded and used fairly, stored safely and securely and not disclosed to any third party unlawfully. We process your personal data to maintain a register, send you notices and to have emergency contact details for the safety of you and/or your child/ren.
Henlow Hurricanes Youth Football Club is committed to:
- only collecting and storing the personal information from you that we need for communication purposes, our register and for contacting you regarding the Club and/or your child/ren.
- keeping personal data only for the time period required
- sharing personal data only with Club officials who require it, Leagues for registration purposes or WhatsApp for communication purposes
- adhering to regulations and related procedures to ensure that all committee members who have access to any personal data held by or on behalf of Henlow Hurricanes Youth Football Club are fully aware of and abide by their duties under the Data Protection Act 1998
- protecting the data that we hold to avoid tampering, loss, or unlawful processing
- keeping personal data up to date and confidential
As individuals:
- You can request details of what information we hold about you or you child/ren, at any time, by emailing henlow-hurricanes@outlook.com
- Please advise us as soon as possible if any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or has changed, so we can amend these details.
- If you and/or your child/ren leave Henlow Hurricanes, you can request your registration and registration forms back. Alternatively, we can shred them on your behalf.
- Your personal data is kept securely with us
- Please report any allegation in relation to the unlawful treatment of personal data by contacting the Chairman. A concern should be raised in the event that members feel that records of their personal data have been:
- lost
- obtained through unlawful disclosure or unauthorised access
- recorded inaccurately and/or in a misleading manner
- provided to a third party without permission.
Where required, Henlow Hurricanes Youth Football Club will take appropriate action/corrective measures against unauthorised/unlawful processing, loss, destruction or damage to personal data.
